I remember listening last week to Adam Lambert's redition of Mad World and it was just the right music that got me going and I completed three chapters of my YA vampire novel. For those that use music as an outlet for inspiration I hope this will get your Muse going. It's not the words spoken but the melodic serenity of his voice that I enjoyed.

good point, I agree it is a very good melody and I do use music when I write.
I find the following gets my Muse working:
Charo's guitar; Zen & Celtic music; Agnus Dei CD by Edward Higginbottom; piano by Keiko Matsui; Japanese Drums; CD - Powwow Songs Music of the Plains Indians; CD - Renaissance of the Native American Flute; Chants by Benedictine Monks of Santo Domingo De Silos; CD - Music of Hildegard Von Bingen
Yes, I am strange.
Also, a bright sunny day can and has prompted butt-kickings from my Muse.
What a beautiful voice!!! Thanks for sharing, Lea!
I wasn't able to get the audio working on the video, but music can do many things to us physically and emotionally.
My favorite soothing cd so far is Piano Dreamers - A collection. And, did you know that there are Chinese traditional therapeutic music cds that can work on your different organs. Amazing!

Beautiful voice -- enjoyed listening. I'm afraid I can't write to music -- too distracting. Wish I could. I'd like to be able to do two things at once!

I love writing to music - each of my main characters has his or her own 'theme' song, too.
There isn't anything Adam can't sing. It's gonna come down to Adam and Danny for sure!

I love music but cannot write to it. I need quiet, with perhaps the chirp of a bird outside the only interruption.
